How to Escape From Computer Hangs

Computer hangs are usually in our PC...
How to escape from these hangs........???
I would like to say some solutions, also you don't forget to write your own solution below as comments..

  • If any software is the reason for your hang, Open Windows Task Manager and end the process of your hanged software.
To open Task Manager press 'Alt' + 'Ctr'l + 'Esc'. From 'Applications' tab, right click hanged software, and select 'Go To Process' . Now you can find the process of that software. Right click on that process and click  ' End Process Tree'.
  • If hangs in the time of folder browsing, Open Windows Task Manager and end  explorer process.
To end explorer, Open Windows Task Manager by pressing 'Alt' + 'Ctr'l + 'Esc',  Click on 'Processes' Tab. Now find  for 'explorer.exe', then  right click and select 'End process'.
   How to reopen 'explorer.exe'..?  :
Click on 'Applications' tab in Windows Task Manger. And click on the button 'New Task'. Then type 'explorer' or 'explorer.exe' or Browse for  C:\Windows\explorer.exe , Then click 'OK'.
  • Some case you can't escape from hanged software, Then Press 'Ctrl'+'D' or 'Ctrl'+'M' for Desktop. Then right click in start bar and select 'Start Task Manager'.
  • Use 'Alt' + 'Tab' or 'Window key' + 'Tab' (Windows 7 and Vista ) to switch between running tasks.
  • In case of low power of Processor or Low size of Ram, you have to wait some time for opening any task, so you have enough FORBEARANCE to escape these type of hangs.
  • If all above methods are not working, wait some time and Log off your PC. ( Start (window key) -> Shut down menu -> Log off.
  • Restarting is the last way (not a solution) to escape from any computer hangs.
  • In time of any hangs, CPU usage is 100%. So improve your Processor for avoiding hangs.
  • Cracked or outdated Operating Systems will bring often hangs.
  • Often Disc checking (Computer-> Right click on Drive -> Tools tab-> Check Now) and Disc Defragment  (Computer-> Right click on Drive -> Tools tab-> Defragment now ) will avoid hangs due to the hard disc problems.
  • Cleaning of unnecessary files will also avoid hangs.
  • Over heating of your Motherboard or Processor will cause to computer hangs. So you must confirm your computer fans are working properly.More that one fan is better to any computer to better hardware and software performance.
